School Specific Role

A Learning Neighbourhood Leader at Eaglehawk Secondary College will have the key responsibility for leading and mentoring the neighbourhood teaching team support the learning, personal development and wellbeing of students.

There will be two learning Neighbourhood Leaders in each Learning Community.

In addition there will be another whole school job as part of the Leading Teacher role which may include, but will not be restricted to possibilities such as Professional Learning, Curriculum, Timetable/Programs, Literacy/Numeracy, Teacher Advisories, Reporting/Data Management, Pathways etc. The Principal will allocate these jobs through negotiation and in consideration of individual skills and whole school requirements.
