School Uniform Policy
Eaglehawk Secondary College Council has a policy that all students will wear uniform. In doing so the College believes that students will be given an identity and a sense of belonging. Uniform is an important element in promoting the College’s image in the wider community. A uniform ensures that a common standard is applied to all. The College uniform is designed to be easy for students to wear and affordable to parents. All items will be available with the College logo.
This uniform offers an affordable and practical choice for parents, is comfortable and reflects student preference. It reinforces local identity through its choice of colours and the provision of a school logo. The concept of uniform is overwhelmingly supported by the students, parents, and staff of Eaglehawk Secondary College.
The uniform policy is a condition of enrolment and forms part of an agreement between parents, students and the College. Parents agree to endeavour to send their students to the College in uniform, students to wear uniform at all times and the College to reinforce this policy with both positive and negative consequences.
